The Get started form

Everything you type — your business name, trade, town, phone number, your name and email, what you have online today, and the optional details such as a license number, hours, the year you started and the jobs you want more of — is used for one purpose: to build your demo and talk to you about it.

Where it goes

Nowhere, until you send it. This site is a set of static files: there is no server of mine that receives the form, and your answers are not stored anywhere online. Your sheet is built inside your own browser. When you press “Send this to Mike” your own e-mail program opens with the sheet ready to paste, so it reaches me as an ordinary e-mail and lives in my mailbox. Nothing is sold, shared, or added to a marketing list. Ask me to delete it and I will.

The personalized sheet is also kept in the address of the page (the part after the #) so it survives a reload. That link stays on your device unless you choose to send it to someone.

Who hosts this site

Cloudflare. Their servers see the ordinary request for each page, the way any web host does. They never see the form, because the form is never sent to a server.

No tracking

There are no advertising cookies or analytics trackers on this site. The type comes from Google Fonts, which means Google’s servers see a request for the font files when the page loads.
